Job Description

Position: Specialty Instructor - Pilates Reformer

Pay Rate: $28.25 - $32.58/hour (based on experience)

Foothills Park & Recreation District is seeking enthusiastic, certified Pilates Reformer Instructors who are passionate about helping others improve their strength, mobility, balance, and overall well-being. We are looking for instructors who can create a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating environment while delivering safe and effective Pilates Reformer programming for participants of varying fitness levels.

Our dedicated Pilates studio features six Balanced Body Allegro® 2 Reformers and a variety of props and equipment designed to provide an exceptional experience for both instructors and participants.

Schedule Availablity:

  • Regular evening and weekend teaching opportunities available.
  • Additional opportunities exist to increase hours through substitute instruction and private lessons.

Required Experience:
  • Current Pilates certification from an accepted national certifying organization and must be maintained through Continuing Education Credits (CEC’s) as required.
  • Possession of current certifications in CPR/AED or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire required.
  • First Aid certification preferred
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Pilates principles and proper exercise technique.
  • Be able to safely modify exercises to accommodate varying fitness levels and physical abilities.
  • Ability to create a positive, engaging, and supportive class environment.
