Pipe Welder

Performance Jobsite Solutions (PJS) is seeking experienced Pipe Welders for an immediate opportunity in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

This is a local position with no per diem. Candidates must be experienced with TIG and Stick pipe welding and be able to pass the required weld test before starting.

Position Details

• Location: Cincinnati, OH
• Pay: Up to $36–$38/hr based on experience
• Schedule: 5-10s + 1-8 (58 hrs/week) OR 6-10s (60 hrs/week)
• Duration: Minimum of a couple months
• Start: ASAP
• Work Environment: Fabrication shop
• Primary Process: TIG welding
• Per Diem: None

Required Weld Test – 7:45 AM

• 2" Stainless Steel SCH 10 – 5G TIG, purged – Visual inspection
• 2" Carbon Steel SCH 80 – 6G TIG – Visual and bend test
• 6" Carbon Steel SCH 80 – Stick, 6010 root / 7018 fill & cap – Visual and bend test
• Testing available Monday–Friday

Candidates Must Be Able To

• Perform high-quality TIG and Stick pipe welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and weld specifications.
• Fit, measure and prepare pipe for welding.
• Work with stainless and carbon steel piping.
• Use standard welding, fabrication and measuring tools.
• Follow all jobsite and shop safety requirements.
• Produce welds capable of passing visual and bend testing.
• Work independently while maintaining quality and production expectations.
• Reliably work the required overtime schedule.
