Day & Night Shifts Available
Pay: $27.00–$33.00/hour DOE
Night Shift Premium: Additional 10% shift differential on top of the offered rate Position Overview We are seeking experienced PipeWelders with strong GTAW (TIG) and GMAW/FCAW (MIG/Flux Core) welding experience to join a leading manufacturing team in Houston. This position is responsible for welding, fabrication, and quality inspection activities in accordance with customer specifications, blueprints, and welding procedures. Must be able to pass a 6G Weld Test Key Responsibilities - Perform TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding on pipe and related components
- Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Set up welding equipment and adjust welding parameters as required
- Select proper filler metals and welding materials for various alloys and applications
- Inspect welds and complete required quality documentation
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on welding equipment
- Utilize precision measuring tools and gauges
- Assist with material inventory audits and material tracking
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Wear required PPE and participate in safety training
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of pipe welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Dual certification in GTAW (TIG) and GMAW/FCAW (MIG/Flux Core) preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs, weld symbols, and measuring instruments
- Knowledge of pipe schedules, materials, and welding processes
- Ability to pass an internal welding test
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills and measurement proficiency
- Good verbal and written English communication skills

Education - High School Diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements & Work Environment - Manufacturing/shop environment
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work on your feet for up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to work up to 6 days per week as needed
- Must be able to work in a non-air-conditioned facility
- Safety glasses required; hearing protection recommended
- Steel-toe boots required
