Pipeline Billing and Revenue Analyst

Summary:

Sunoco LP is looking for a Pipeline Billing and Revenue Analyst to join our Operational Accounting team in Dallas. We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information, and leveraging technology to streamline our processes

The Pipeline Billing and Revenue Operational Accounting team manages inventory, revenue and costs arising from the transportation of crude and refined products through Sunoco's pipelines and connected terminals. It also supports FERC reporting and Revenue Footnote disclosures, offers internal guidance to Commercial Teams for drafting agreements and evaluating the accounting implications of different actions, and provides external customer support by addressing billing inquiries. The essential duties of this position are designed to ensure that all margin activities are captured accurately in the general ledger.

• Ensure that all customer billing is on time and accurate

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Education: Bachelor's degree required

• Experience: 0-2 years' experience

• Required Skills: Proficiency in Excel required

• Technical Skills: Experience with SAP, Synthesis, or TopTech a plus

• Preferred qualifications: Experience with Power BI or Alteryx preferred

• Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

• The Associate Accountant/Analyst level requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of relevant job-related experience

• The Accountant/Analyst level requires a bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant job-related experience

• The Accountant/Analyst level requires a bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant job-related experience
