This role ensures accurate planning, forecasting, and resource alignment to support safe, efficient, and on-time execution of construction projects. The Scheduler partners closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Construction Managers to drive schedule performance and mitigate risks across all sector operations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Project Scheduling & Planning
      • Develop, manage, and maintain project Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules using Primavera P6 in alignment with the scope of work, contract requirements, and company standards.
      • Build and maintain linear/tabular schedules in TILOS to reflect spread progress, right-of-way (ROW) access, and production rates across pipeline segments, stationing, and mileposts.
      • Integrate labor, equipment, material, environmental, and permitting constraints specific to pipeline construction (clearing, grading, stringing, bending, welding, coating, trenching, lowering-in, backfill, hydrotest, and tie-ins)
      • Establish baseline schedules, conducting detailed reviews of durations, logic, resource assignments, and resource histograms and track progress throughout project execution.
      • Manage schedules for multiple concurrent pipeline projects/spreads, prioritizing workload and reporting deadlines across all assignments.
    • Coordination & Communication
      •  Collaborate with project teams to gather accurate schedule inputs, including spread progress, ROW/permitting status, and material delivery timelines.
      • Lead weekly schedule review meetings with project leadership and field teams.
      • Work closely with the Project Controls Manager to align schedule updates with production goals, task durations, and Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.
      • Communicate schedule changes, delays, constraints, and risks to internal stakeholders and client representatives.
    • Analysis & Reporting
      • Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and "what-if" scenarios.
      • Provide clear reporting on milestone performance, spread production rates, tie-in sequencing, and hydrotest/commissioning phases.
      • Support recovery planning and mitigation strategies for schedule impacts related to ROW access, permitting delays, weather, and third-party crossings.
    • Compliance & Documentation
      • Ensure schedules comply with contract requirements, pipeline industry standards, regulatory/permitting requirements, and WHC procedures.
      • Support project teams in managing scope changes, delay claims, and compensation events by ensuring proper change management procedures are followed and documented.
      • Document all schedule assumptions, logic ties, sequence changes, and risks.
      • Align scheduling data with project controls functions, including cost tracking and progress measurement.

Note: In addition to these duties personnel are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required in order to support the objectives of the company.

    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
