Role Overview and Responsibilities:

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by solving challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join TT Electronics as a Planner/Buyer I and play an essential role in ensuring materials, schedules, and resources align to support customer commitments and operational success.

 

In this role, you'll work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Sales Operations, and suppliers to plan production, manage material availability, and support efficient manufacturing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career supply chain professional looking to build expertise in planning, purchasing, and ERP systems within a collaborative, high-performing team.

 

What You'll Do

• Create and maintain production work orders within the ERP system.
• Generate and manage purchase orders for production materials.
• Monitor material availability and communicate potential shortages or risks.
• Support production scheduling activities for assigned product lines.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status and delivery commitments.
• Maintain accurate planning and purchasing information within ERP systems.
• Support inventory accuracy and material availability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Sales Operations to resolve planning and supply chain issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts that enhance operational performance.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

What You'll Bring

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of planning, purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• ERP experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Must meet ITAR requirements.
