Planner Scheduler Level 3 - Engineering and Construction

Location: Juno Beach, Florida (On-site) It is preferred that the candidate works and reports out of the Juno Beach office, but an exception to work remotely will be considered depending on the candidate.

Role Overview

This organization is seeking a professional Planner Scheduler to join the project Scheduling & Planning group for the Engineering and Construction Division. The selected candidate will support the Power Delivery scope of work, collaborating directly with Project Originators, Developers, Engineers, Early Stage Managers, and Construction Managers. This position entails direct involvement in the development, engineering, and construction of diverse energy technologies, including Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Transmission Lines, Substations, Pipelines, and Combined Cycles. Reporting to the group Manager, the individual will drive project success throughout the entire asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and track detailed project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 software.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly reports for construction projects, comparing baseline approved schedules to progress schedules.
• Analyze critical path method, resource loading, cost loading, manpower, submittals, projections of impacts, and recovery plans.
• Schedule and dispatch generation resources to economically balance load and generation in real-time.
• Evaluate and approve OASIS requests and Tags, and perform energy accounting functions.
• Coordinate committing, decommitting, and outages of power plants with the designated System Operator.
• Lead scheduling processes for maintenance, compliance, and project execution.
• Perform hourly and on-peak/off-peak energy accounting functions with adjacent balancing authorities.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management, or a related field, or professional certification.

Experience: Eleven to fifteen years of experience managing power system scheduling, project execution, and compliance reporting. Alternatively, three or more years of dedicated Scheduling experience, or four or more years of experience in Project Management tracking plans against schedule baselines.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6, NERC operational reliability standards, energy accounting protocols, and Microsoft Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead Schedule Review Meetings with multidisciplinary project participants.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to validate external information and solve complex planning problems.
