Plant 3D Designer Location: Simi Valley, CA Job Type: Full-time Salary range around $85k
We are seeking an AutoCAD Plant 3D Designer with 3 years of experience to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Plant 3D, preferably in pipeline design and as-built projects, and be comfortable developing piping models, isometrics, and construction drawings.
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D, including 3D plant modeling and piping design.
Basic working knowledge of Civil 3D and the ability to coordinate with civil/site design information.
Design experience in at least one of the following: Civil, Structural, Instrumentation, Electrical, Piping, Mechanical, or Architectural
Strong knowledge of discipline-specific design principles, industry codes, and engineering standards
Advanced experience with design/visualization software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, PDS, AVEVA E3D, or equivalent
Ability to interpret and apply company procedures, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Strong understanding of document control and drawing management systems
Experience with laser scanning software such as LFM or similar
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Highly detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
Efficient and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Strong computer skills, including file management, cloud-based collaboration, and learning new software tools.
