In this role, you will
- Follow safety standards, identify risks, and take corrective steps to keep everyone safe.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues quickly and effectively.
- Coordinate with other departments to sustain high equipment availability.
- Document PMs, inspections, and repairs with accuracy.
- Share knowledge with the team and guide less-experienced technicians.
- Handle additional responsibilities as needed.
What you need to succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework/certifications preferred.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (or comparable background).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with mechanical/electrical fundamentals.
- Foundational electrical troubleshooting skills; confident with hand tools.
- Team-oriented communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to meet the demands of the job.
- Certified/able to operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
