Schedule: Primarily days, but must be flexible. This position supports a 24/7 plant operation.
Work Location: 1801 N 36th Street, Grand Forks, ND 58203
Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $93k - $138k withadditionalbonus potential

RolesandResponsibilities:
Performs month-end close activities.
Develops annual budgets and forecasts for the plant.
Analyzes financial performance against budget and provides variance analysis.
Maintainsaccurateinventory reporting.
Conducts profitability analysis for various product lines and initiatives.
Monitors and controls plant operating expenses.
Identifiescost-saving opportunities and drives cost optimization initiatives.
Partners with Department leads toanalyzeproduction costs and provides recommendations for efficiency improvements.
Ensuresaccurateandtimelyfinancial reportingin accordance withcompany policies and GAAP standards.
Maintains plant controlenvironment.
Coordinates with auditors for annual financial audits.
Stays updated with regulatory requirements and ensures compliance.
Provides financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborateswith other departments to evaluate investment opportunities and projects.
Assesses financial risks anddevelopsrisk mitigation strategies.
Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field;Master'sdegree preferred.
CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
Minimum of 8yearsproven experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably in a manufacturing or food industry setting.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Proficiencyin financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel to business meetings and/or company locations may be required
