Plant Maintenance & Reliability Technician

• Support people and processes across the site—from janitorial teams to Shipping and Receiving and vendor partners.

Schedule

First shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM. Weekends as scheduled.

Core responsibilities

• Facility and equipment care: perform plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs; complete and assist with PMs on floor scrubbers, forklifts, and conveyors.
• Operations support: function as the alternate Coolant Technician and provide help to Shipping and Receiving when needed.
• Housekeeping ownership: sustain cleanliness in parking areas, cold storage, and chemical storage spaces.
• Team guidance: prioritize, direct, and train janitorial staff; manage cleaning supplies inventory levels.
• Vendor interface: act as the point of contact for oil, coolant, and recycling vendors.
• Environmental and compliance: manage Storm Water Operator and Great Lakes Water Authority responsibilities; follow recycling and safety programs (including lockout/tagout) and maintain compliance with Quality and Environmental systems (ISO 14001).

Qualifications

• Education: High School minimum.
• Experience: 2–3 years in facilities, general maintenance, or manufacturing.
• Mechanical strength and familiarity with electrical and tool room equipment.
• Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Forklift and/or man-lift experience.
• Storm Water Operator Certification.
