Citizens Health is looking for a full-time maintenance worker in our plant operations department.

About Us: Citizens Health is a community based, private, not-for-profit organization. It is comprised of: Citizens Medical Center - a 25 bed critical access hospital, Family Center for Health Care - an outpatient rural health clinic, Prairie Senior - a skilled nursing facility, Citizens Clubhouse - an onsite childcare center that cares for children 6 weeks to school age for our workforce, Citizens Medical Equipment - our durable medical equipment business, Palace Drug Store - our outpatient pharmacy. We strive to be progressive, dependable and knowledgeable, while providing compassionate, evidence-based care to the residents of northwest Kansas.

Days/Hours: Typically Monday-Friday 8AM to 4:30PM with after hours and weekend call every fifth week.

Pay Range: Dependent upon experience.

The maintenance mechanic will report to the Plant Operation Manager

What you'll do:

Perform preventative maintenance work. Repair building and equipment. Perform building and remodeling projects Complete other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

At least two years in one of the building trades such as electricity, plumbing, carpentry, etc High school diploma or GED

Typical Working Conditions: Exposed to hazards from electrical/mechanical/power equipment. May be exposed to toxic chemicals. Working in precarious or high locations (ladders, scaffolding, etc.). May be exposed to hazards of steam and heat. May be exposed to hot or noisy equipment. This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.
