Plant Operator Job Details: 

Location: 4700 Waters Ave, Savannah, GA

Schedule: 6:30pm - 7:00am (Days vary)

Starting Pay Rate: $26.86 Hourly + (Based on experience)

Temporary to hire

Responsibilities:  

• Operate boilers, chillers, medical gas systems, and air handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor equipment operating conditions, pressures, temperatures, water chemistry, and safety systems
• Inspect, maintain, repair, and replace equipment as needed to ensure optimal operation
• Operate facility systems efficiently while supporting energy conservation and cost control
• Maintain required equipment and regulatory documentation
• Ensure plant operations comply with federal and state regulations, local requirements, fire codes, and applicable standards
• Communicate equipment status, issues, and operational concerns to facility management
• Support maintenance scheduling, equipment planning, and continuous improvement efforts
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and compliance requirements
• Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned

Education Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent, required. 

Job Requirements: 

• Previous experience in Hospital maintenance required.
• Knowledge of facility plant operations, including boilers, chillers, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and medical gas systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently and effectively with facility management and maintenance teams
