Overview
The Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling the drinking water treatment process to ensure the continuous production of safe, high-quality drinking water. Primary responsibilities include hazardous chemical handling, filter assessments, regulatory compliance sampling, process control sampling, and maintaining compliance with all applicable state and federal drinking water regulations. This position also supports the operation and maintenance of the 161.5 million gallon per day water treatment facility, ensuring reliable plant performance and an uninterrupted supply of drinking water that meets or exceeds all regulatory quality standards for the community.
