Plant Operator/ Local CDL Driver

Responsibilities & Duties:

Duties include housekeeping, equipment operation, and perform general preventative maintenance activities and day deliveries of product loads to local customers as needed.

• Routine plant inspections
• Operate slurry plant equipment
• Safely operate and maintain truck/mobile equipment
• Coordinate inbound lime deliveries
• Schedule customers deliveries
• Perform routine maintenance on Mixer and Pump
• Housekeeping around plant
• Inspect transfer piping for leaks
• Delivery of slurry load to customers

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• CDL with Tanker endorsement required
• Must have clear motor vehicle report
• Must have a positive attitude, good communication, and proven ability to work with the public
• Computer skills a plus
• Mechanical aptitude
• Demonstrates teamwork and maturity with a strong work ethic
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays to meet customer demands. Home nightly.
• On occasion an overnight trip may be necessary dependent on customer needs.
