Plant Support Technician

Plant Support Technicians must possess sufficient language, mathematical, and reasoning abilities to acquire the technical skills and certifications needed to perform assigned job duties effectively.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
