Small, specialized shop is looking to hire a self-motivated Plastic Injection Molding Tech / Plastic Process Technician to set up, troubleshoot, and run jobs. Much of the work is prototyping, but company does run short production jobs as well. Company is willing to train a strong operator with solid experience in plastic injection molding, foam molding, or die casting. This is a very employee oriented company with great benefits and perks!
Duties of the Plastic Process Tech:
Machine set up and new mold sampling
Process Development and optimization of current processes
De-gate and assemble parts as required
Monitor inventory levels
Document production of parts, quality, and customer communication
Requirements
The ideal Plastic Process Tech has:
Experience with small tonnage machines (JSW, Engel, Toshiba)
Knowledge of or the desire to learn process tech work
Ability to perform quality checks
Material handling skills including forklift operation
Strong math and measuring skills
Comfortable working in a fast paced, custom job shop
Understanding of ERP/MRP systems
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
