What You'll Do

Novant Health Plastic Surgery Autumn Hall specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery, dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. Our team is renowned for its expertise in advanced surgical techniques and innovative treatments, supported by a commitment to personalized, compassionate care.

We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a strong interest in microsurgery, particularly in breast reconstruction, as well as cosmetic surgery. While a microsurgical fellowship is not required, the ideal candidate will bring extensive experience and a passion for performing microvascular reconstruction as part of a collaborative team.

This position offers a broad scope of practice, including facial aesthetic surgery and Mohs reconstruction of the face and body, in addition to breast and body procedures. Desired skills include implant and autologous reconstruction following mastectomy and lumpectomy, breast reduction, panniculectomy/abdominoplasty, and repair of facial, trunk, and perineal defects. This role does not include facial trauma or hand call responsibilities. ED call responsibilities are evolving and are anticipated to be approximately 1:10-1:12, and are subject to change as the program continues to develop.

The practice is supported by a robust team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as well as General Surgery residents who rotate on service, creating a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment. Call expectations are evolving and will be discussed further during the interview process.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
• Completion of an accredited residency program required
• For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Current MD license in appropriate state
• Board certification or eligibility
• Current DEA license required
