Plastics Assembly Technician — Recycled Lumber Manufacturing

A day in this role

At 7 AM or 7 PM, you’ll step onto a spotless, modern production floor where recycled plastic becomes long-lasting lumber. You gather your hand tools, lock in your power and pneumatic tools, and start assembling components to exact specifications. You’ll measure twice using a tape measure and digital calipers, verify tolerances, then complete quality checks before the product moves on. When something isn’t quite right, you troubleshoot and make basic tooling changes. Between runs, you help with machine upkeep and jump in where the team needs you most. As you build momentum, you’ll have opportunities to cross-train in CNC or extrusion—broadening your skill set and opening doors for growth.

What you’ll handle

• Manual assembly using hand, power, and pneumatic tools
• Precision measurement with tape measures and digital calipers
• Product quality checks and basic troubleshooting
• Occasional tooling changes and assistance with machine upkeep
• Support for additional production tasks as needed
• Cross-training in CNC or extrusion based on performance and business needs

What you bring

• Experience in manufacturing or assembly (preferred)
• Comfort with hand, power, and pneumatic tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
• Skill using measuring tools and performing quality checks
• Comfort working in a predominantly Spanish-speaking environment; bilingual Spanish–English is a plus
• Capability to meet physical demands, including occasional lifting of 50+ lbs

Compensation, schedule, and growth

• Pay: $18/hr (Day) | $20/hr (Night) + Overtime Opportunities
• Schedule: 7 AM–7 PM (Day) or 7 PM–7 AM (Night) on a rotating two-week schedule
• Work environment: Clean, modern facility with strong team support
• Development: Learn CNC and extrusion to advance within production
