Role Name: Platform Engineer
Work site: Seattle, US (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months

**Key Responsibilities**

• **Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable database solutions**

• Manage and optimize data pipelines and integrations using **Azure Data Factory**

• Develop and support data processing and analytics workloads using **Azure Databricks**

• Provision and manage infrastructure using **Terraform** following IaC best practices

• Ensure data integrity, security, availability, backup, and recovery

• Collaborate with application, analytics, and platform teams to support data needs

• Monitor database health and proactively resolve performance and reliability issues

**Required Skills**

• **Professional-level expertise in database design, SQL, and performance tuning**

• **Terraform** – Infrastructure as Code for cloud and data platforms

• **Azure Data Factory** – data ingestion, orchestration, and pipeline management

• **Azure Databricks** – data processing, transformation, and analytics

• Strong understanding of data security, governance, and access control

• Experience working in cloud-based data platforms, preferably **Microsoft Azure**

• Basic Python Scripting

• Basic Kubernetes

**Nice to Have**

• **Experience with large-scale data platforms and analytics solutions**

• Exposure to CI/CD, automation, and monitoring for data systems

• Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery strategies
