PLC Programmer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our automation team and contribute to various projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing programming efforts, tracking project-specific details, and ensuring the successful completion and delivery of robust systems to satisfied customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide Process Control Engineering, including specification, engineering, configuration, and startup for projects implementing automation control systems for industrial clients, including OEMs, end users, and EPC firms across a range of industries.
• Read P&IDs and electrical drawings.
• Utilize Fluke volt meters and other measuring tools.
• Program online and upload/download running process control systems.
• Write technical documentation and project reports.
• Follow and perform work in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Industrial Automation and Control Systems, including PLC, DCS, and HMI across multiple platforms.
• Willingness to learn new platforms and technologies and be hands-on with equipment.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET).
• 2-5 years of experience in automation programming and hands-on experience with measuring tools, Fluke, and volt meters.
