Job Title: Plumbing Design Engineer - CAD
Location: Oak Brook Terrace
Job Type and Duration: Direct Hire
Pay range: $85,000 - $125,000

This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys owning projects from concept through construction and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The projects are small and move quickly. Ranging from 2,000 SF to 50,000 SF small tenant buildouts, commercial, retail, and manufacturing facilities, with schedules that can range from 3 days to 8 weeks depending on project scope and complexity.

Responsibilities:

• Plumbing system design, modeling and documentation
• Specifications, building codes, and plumbing industry standards
• Design layout of plumbing systems, pipe distribution and specifications
• Pump calculations, oil and grease interceptor calculations, WSFU and DFU calculations
• Site Survey
• Shop drawing review

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 5 years +
• B.S. Engineering
• Knowledge of engineering codes and standards e.g. ASPE, IMC, IECC
• Experience in all phases of project management
• Experience with AutoCad a must, Revit and Solidworks a plus
• Knowledge of HVAC Engineering is a big plus
