Location: Devens, MA – This is a full-time, on-site opportunity where you'll work alongside an experienced team in a collaborative office environment.

Note: Candidates must have at least 1+ years of commercial or industrial plumbing or HVAC estimating experience.

Job Description

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial and industrial plumbing and HVAC construction projects
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Solicit, analyze, and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Develop competitive bid proposals and assist with final submissions
• Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and field personnel throughout the estimating process
• Participate in estimating strategy meetings and bid-day activities
• Help identify project risks, opportunities, and value-engineering solutions
• Maintain organized estimating documentation and bid records

Qualifications

• 1+ years of commercial or industrial plumbing or HVAC estimating experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs and preparing estimates
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Team-oriented with excellent attention to detail
• Experience with estimating software is a plus
