You will oversee installation quality, resolve field issues, and ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and applicable codes.The ideal candidate brings strong commercial plumbing experience, sound judgment in the field, and the ability to lead and develop a team.What You'll DoField Leadership & Project ExecutionLead and supervise plumbing crews, including mechanics, helpers, and apprenticesPlan daily and upcoming work to meet project schedules and milestonesOversee commercial plumbing installations from rough-in through testing and completionReview plans, specifications, and field conditions to guide installationCoordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to keep work progressingIdentify field issues early and work with the project team to resolve themCoordination & QualityCoordinate plumbing activities with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other tradesVerify that installations meet approved plans, specifications, applicable codes, and VMG quality standardsMonitor progress and communicate schedule, staffing, and material needsSupport inspections, testing, punch list completion, and project closeoutDocument field changes and provide information needed to review and track change ordersMaintain clear communication with project stakeholders on progress and prioritiesSafety & Team DevelopmentPromote safe work practices and enforce company and jobsite safety requirementsIdentify and address hazards before they affect the crew or projectSet clear expectations for workmanship, productivity, and jobsite conductTrain and mentor crew members and apprenticesWhat We're Looking ForAt least 5 years of plumbing supervision or management experience on commercial construction projectsStrong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, installation methods, and applicable codesProven ability to lead crews and coordinate work across multiple tradesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExperience planning manpower, materials, and work activities to meet deadlinesStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced construction environmentFamiliarity with construction management software and field reporting toolsA bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not requiredWhy Join VMG?VMG offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:Competitive salaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement planPaid time off and company holidaysProfessional development and opportunities for career growthA supportive, team-oriented work environmentJoin VMGIf you take pride in leading crews and delivering high-quality commercial plumbing work, we would like to hear from you.
