    Evening Restaurant Bartender, HILTON GARDEN INN SUFFOLK RIVERFRONT 

    Location: CRUST & CORK 

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at our new location in Suffolk, VA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
     
    Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
    • Maintain a clean and organized bar area
    • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
    • Adhere to all state and local laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol
    • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service
    • Handle cash and credit card transactions and maintain accurate records
    • Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
    Requirements:
    • Proven experience as a bartender
    • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Must be at least 21 years of age
    • High school diploma or equivalent

    Compensation Structure: $9.00 per hour base cash wage + customer tips.
    Expected Total Hourly Earnings: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour (combined base wage and tips).
    The hourly base cash wage for this position is fixed at $9.00 per hour. Employees also customarily and regularly receive tips from customers. The total expected hourly earning range represents a good-faith estimate of average combined earnings based on historical shift data. Under Virginia law, if an employee’s combined cash wage and tips do not equal at least the state minimum wage of $12.77 per hour during any given workweek, the employer will compensate the difference to ensure full compliance.
