We are seeking an experienced PMO Lead / Management Consultant to assess and improve operational efficiency, ways of working, and execution within a pharmaceutical organization.
This individual will evaluate current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and establish a structured roadmap to drive stronger prioritization, accountability, and cross-functional execution. The ideal candidate brings a traditional management consulting background, strong PMO and operational transformation experience, and the ability to work effectively with senior leadership.
Assess current ways of working, processes, governance, and operational effectiveness to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Develop and implement a clear roadmap of initiatives, including priorities, owners, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Establish practical PMO governance frameworks, operating rhythms, and reporting mechanisms to improve visibility and accountability.
Drive cross-functional alignment across teams and workstreams to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Develop executive-level dashboards, status reports, and presentations to support leadership decision-making.
Facilitate leadership meetings, track key decisions, manage risks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Support change management and adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
Pharmaceutical industry experience is required, ideally within Commercial functions; experience in other pharmaceutical domains will also be considered.
Strong background in management consulting, PMO leadership, operational excellence, or business transformation.
Demonstrated experience assessing organizational processes and implementing improved operating models and governance structures.
Proven ability to build and manage strategic roadmaps, workstream plans, milestones, and dependencies.
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and executive presentation skills.
Ability to operate independently, bring structure to ambiguous environments, and drive initiatives from assessment through implementation.
Prior experience with a management consulting firm or internal consulting/transformation function.
Experience supporting pharmaceutical Commercial Operations, Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Sales Operations, or related functions.
Familiarity with PMO best practices, process improvement methodologies, and organizational change management.
