Position Summary: Mechanically deals Poker in a proficient manner

Essential Job Functions:
Performs the act of mechanically dealing a Poker game in a proficient manner, according to current company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations
Responsible for handling guest transactions and notifying the Manager on Duty of any irregularities or of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players or players and the dealer
Manages gaming chips, collects rake, and distributes winning pots according to house rules in an accurate manner
Works as Chip Runner and assists with seating players on open positions on Poker tables
Supports and maintains the guest service standards at all times while promoting outstanding guest relations and enforcing rules of the game
Performs duties required in Poker tournaments
Assists with cleanliness of the casino property front and heart of house
Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Equivalent of a high school diploma with knowledge of game and dealing techniques 1-2 years' supervisory experience is preferred
Must be 21 years of age or older
Knowledge of poker procedures and rules
Must have strong leadership skills with a clear focus on guest service and Team Member relations as a priority
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to staff or customers and other employees of the organization
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills
Ability to communicate with team members and guests
Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
Working Conditions:
Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use of hand to finger dexterity, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms; stand and/or walk for prolonged period of time
Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel
Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor
Possible exposure to high noise level for extended period of time
