Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be currently licensed as a Minnesota Peace Officer (POST) and have at least one year of law enforcement experience.
Out-of-state officers should review Minnesota POST Board reciprocity requirements to determine eligibility.

Essential Position Functions
Must have the ability to operate a variety of equipment, including but not limited to; police radios, mobile digital computers, radar units, digital recording devices, cameras, fire extinguishers, oxygen resuscitators, etc.
Have knowledge of and commitment to Community Orientated Policing/Problem Orientated Policing as a department philosophy
Performs all other duties as required or assigned
HOURS OF WORK:
May include rotating shift work; average of 40 hours per week; subject to overtime, call back and extended work day for emergency and special assignments; includes weekend and holiday work.
WORKING CONDITIONS: 90% Field, 10% Office
