PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Understand and apply safe work practices.
- Understand and apply basic Metal Polishing principles.
- Understand and apply basic Metal Buffing principles.
- Basic understanding and operation of Lea Wheel.
- Ability to Identify Materials and apply appropriate Finishes.
- Basic understanding and application of raw materials.
- Basic understanding and operation of Burlington Belt Sander.
- Read and understand work orders
- Full understanding and application of measuring equipment tape measure, and calipers.
- Set up and Operate Sand Blaster
- Basic understanding and operation of all polishing hand tools
- Basic understanding and operation of crane Paint Room.
- Basic understanding of Basic Paint operations, Tanks, Set Up, Liquid and Powder
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION PREFERRED/SPECIAL NOTES:
- High School or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED/SPECIAL NOTES:
- Basic Math, Blueprint and Measuring.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 Lb.’s
- Good Body Mechanics
- Long periods of standing
