.Office assistant for the Political Science Department

Location: Lippman Hall 112

Rate of Pay: $9.70/hr

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide clerical support to administrative assistant and department faculty
Assist with copying, scanning, receiving and sorting mail
Department Marketing: help create social media posts and marketing materials to advertise department courses/events and post materials around campus
Answer questions from office visitors
Conduct tasks in a timely and efficient manner with and without supervision
Qualifications:
Current Union College Student
Basic knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google applications
Knowledge of Canva or Adobe Express (or other applications) to create social media posts and flyers
Communication skills
Adaptability to changing demands based on office traffic
Location: Schenectady, NY
