Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related natural science and one year of experience investigating or analyzing pollution and/or environmental problems and developing solutions are required; or one year of experience as a Pollution Control Inspector 1 with Miami-Dade County is required. Must possess a Driver license.
Recruitment Notes
This role is responsible for performing technical field work, office assignments, facility inspections and air testing for the Miami-Dade County programs, as well as the State of Florida delegated air pollution control program. The position fulfills key responsibilities associated with collecting data and field evidence for enforcement actions for noncompliant facilities.
