Culver's is looking for highly motivated, self-startingPart Time and Weekend Porters (Handyman/Maintenance-Technician)!
Every day, our porters hustle to set an excellent Culver's experience in motion. They open the doors each morning and ensure our restaurants and equipment are in tip-top condition. Keep our kitchens stocked with safe, fresh ingredients that meet our high-quality standards. Basically, porters keep our entire operation running smoothly for guests and team, so we can deliver a dining experience unlike any other.
Overview:
Provide superior maintenance to interior (dining room, kitchen, restrooms) and exterior of restaurant timely and accurately
Checks over restaurant from previous close to ensure a safe and secure environment
Maintains appearance of the building exterior and grounds effectively, including landscaping and snow removal
Complete daily, weekly and monthly jobs timely and accurately
Coordinates job duties around other opening team members to help ensure efficient preparation for opening
Takes temperatures of required foods upon delivery accurately, providing documentation on the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist
Puts food orders away in cooler following protocols for proper stock rotation
Rotates stock in cooler, freezer and dry storage area using the First In-First Out method of stock rotation monitoring shelf life and code dates
Maintains a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurant
Completes scheduled maintenance on all restaurant equipment safely and correctly, according to the equipment maintenance calendar
Completes daily duties to be ready to work in the kitchen during the lunch shift
Work in the kitchen during the lunch shift is a PLUS
Reports possible areas of incomplete closing to opening manager
Completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager on duty

1-2 years restaurant/porter experience preferred
Sweep, mop and scrub using cleaning materials
Reach, bend and clean surfaces regularly
Able to work independently AND with a team
Be able to frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds

Strong time management skills
Problem solver
