Job Description
Clayton Services is searching for a Portfolio Success Manager to join a growing financial services organization in Central Houston. The Portfolio Success Manager will be responsible for analyzing portfolio performance, developing client-facing reports, monitoring key business metrics, and partnering with leadership to drive operational improvements and client retention.
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $70,000 - $85,000 + Bonus Potential

Portfolio Success Manager Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance metrics, recovery trends, and account activity
- Develop, maintain, and present performance reports, dashboards, and analytics for leadership and clients
- Conduct portfolio reviews and provide strategic recommendations to improve results
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client performance discussions and reporting needs
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and operational reporting
- Collaborate with operations, legal, and leadership teams to improve portfolio performance
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), service level metrics, and portfolio health
- Create and maintain customized reports within CRM and reporting systems
- Assist with onboarding new clients through reporting setup and performance benchmarking
- Support process improvement initiatives and data accuracy efforts
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and reporting
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a data-driven mindset
- Experience developing dashboards, performance reports, and KPI tracking tools
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
- Strong client relationship management and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively across operations, legal, and leadership teams
- Experience utilizing CRM systems and reporting platforms
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in collections, commercial collections, financial services, lending, portfolio management, or a related industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership, management, client success, operational analytics, or performance management role
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics required
- Salesforce experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools preferred
- Commercial collections, merchant cash advance (MCA), commercial lending, or specialty finance experience preferred
