A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the Department of Neurosurgery Research under the mentorship of Chibawanye Ene, PhD. The postdoctoral fellow will contribute to a translational research program focused on the biology and treatment of primary brain tumors and brain metastases using clinically relevant experimental models, including representative mouse models.
The postdoctoral fellow will provide technical and scientific support for ongoing studies examining tumor-immune interactions, mechanisms of therapeutic resistance, and determinants of treatment response in neuro-oncology. A major focus of the laboratory will investigate how radiation therapy may be strategically integrated with immunotherapeutic approaches, including immune checkpoint inhibitors and cellular immunotherapy, to improve outcomes for patients with brain tumors.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The applicant should have a PhD and/or MD as well as peer-reviewed publications or manuscripts under review in internationally recognized journals. A strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology is also required.
POSITION INFORMATION
MD Anderson offers full-time postdoc positions with a salary ranging from $64,000 to $76,000. depending on the number of years of postgraduate experience.
