Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Power BI / Data Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level data solutions and business intelligence dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, data modeling, ETL, and data visualization, along with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
Build scalable data models using Power BI and SQL.
Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration and reporting.
Perform data analysis, cleansing, validation, and quality checks.
Integrate data from multiple sources into enterprise reporting solutions.
Optimize Power BI reports, datasets, and queries for performance.
Implement appropriate security, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
Collaborate with business users, data engineers, analysts, and technical teams to understand reporting requirements.
Participate in troubleshooting, production support, and performance tuning.
Follow data governance, development standards, and best practices.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).
Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
Experience with data modeling, star schema, and dimensional modeling.
Experience developing dashboards and reports for enterprise business users.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT and data integration.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, datasets, gateways, and deployment pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Azure Data Services, Azure SQL, Data Factory, or Synapse.
Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture.
Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud data platforms.
Familiarity with Power BI administration and governance.
Experience integrating APIs and external data sources.
