    Description

    Power BI Developer – Hybrid (National Capital Region) – U.S. Citizen

     

    BizFirst is assisting our client in recruiting a full-time Power BI Developer to support the Navy ERP Governance Program. This is a hybrid position, requiring 15% onsite presence in the National Capital Region (Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia). The ideal candidate will have five years of data experience and expertise in Power BI, Power Automate, and data visualization techniques.

    U.S. Citizenship is required. No security clearance is needed.

    What will you do?

    The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Power BI dashboards and reports to support Navy ERP governance. The developer will work with business and technical stakeholders to implement data-driven solutions, automate reporting processes using Power Automate, and ensure data integrity and governance across the system.

     

    Responsibilities:

    ·         Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for Navy ERP Governance.

    ·         Implement Power Automate workflows to streamline and automate business processes.

    ·         Design and optimize data models to support efficient reporting and analytics.

    ·         Gather and analyze business requirements to deliver insightful, data-driven reports.

    ·         Develop and maintain ETL processes for integrating data from various sources into Power BI.

    ·         Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and best practices for Power BI solutions.

    ·         Provide documentation and training to end users for self-service analytics.

    ·         Stay up to date with Power BI, Power Automate, and data visualization advancements.

    Qualifications:

    ·         U.S. Citizenship required. No security clearance is needed.

    ·         5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.

    ·         Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and report/dashboard development.

    ·         Experience with Power Automate to develop workflow automation.

    ·         Strong SQL skills for data querying and transformation.

    ·         Experience integrating Power BI with ERP systems

    ·         Excellent communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    ·         Ability to work independently in a hybrid role with 15% onsite presence in the National Capital Region.

     

    Nice to have:

    ·         Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)

    ·         Navy ERP experience preferred
