Job Description
A New York City-based financial services firm is seeking a Power BI / Reporting Analyst for a remote consulting opportunity.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Remote (Candidates that can commute to the NYC office on occasion will be strongly considered)
Responsibilities:
Lead reporting and analytics requirements sessions with business, risk, audit, and operational stakeholders
Define reporting questions, audiences, measures, dimensions, frequency, thresholds, and drill-down needs
Develop conceptual reporting views, wireframes, and drill-down paths for cyber risk use cases
Translate approved methodology into reporting measure definitions and data element requirements
Support limited customization of existing Power BI views and document future-state reporting recommendations
Qualifications:
Experience gathering reporting requirements and developing Power BI dashboards, wireframes, semantic models, measures, and drill-down designs
Strong knowledge of data visualization, dimensional modeling, DAX concepts, data quality, reconciliation, and report governance
Ability to communicate reporting concepts to executive, business, risk, and technical audiences
Desired Skills:
Experience with cyber risk, GRC, KRI/KCI reporting, financial services, or regulated environments
