Power BI with SQL Senior Developer

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer / BI Consultant with strong expertise in Client Power BI, Client Fabric, SQL, Data Modeling, and Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable BI solutions, develop insightful dashboards, and guide teams in implementing best practices for reporting, analytics, and data governance.

The role requires hands-on experience with Client Fabric, Power BI development, data integration, and cloud-based analytics platforms. The consultant will also mentor existing BI developers, oversee solution delivery, and help establish a modern BI architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document reporting and analytics requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Build and optimize semantic models, datasets, and Power BI workspaces.
• Develop advanced calculations using DAX and perform data transformations using Power Query (M).
• Create and maintain SQL views, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Design scalable data models utilizing star schema, fact tables, and dimension tables.
• Leverage Client Fabric capabilities for data engineering, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions.
• Integrate data from APIs, cloud platforms, databases, and third-party systems.
• Optimize report performance, scalability, security, and user experience.
• Implement row-level security (RLS), workspace governance, and data access controls.
• Perform unit testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and report integrity.
• Guide and mentor BI developers, review deliverables, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot production reporting issues and provide technical solutions.
• Participate in BI architecture planning and roadmap execution.
• Stay updated with emerging Client Fabric and Power BI capabilities.
