Position Summary Ava is seeking to hire a full-time Power Resources Settlements Analyst, reporting to the Power Resources Settlement Manager. The Power Resources Settlements Analyst plays a critical role in validating power purchase transactions, tracking energy settlements, and ensuring contract compliance within Ava’s Power Resources team. This role supports invoice validation, monitoring CAISO market settlements, and the integrity of financial and operational data across Ava’s renewable and storage project portfolio. The selected candidate will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of energy settlement — from generated power and project invoice review for contractual compliance to CAISO market performance review and analysis. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how clean energy projects are compensated, how settlement data is captured and tracked, and how contractual terms govern financial outcomes. The Settlements Analyst will work cross-functionally with power procurement teams and finance teams to ensure accuracy, transparency, and consistency in all aspects of energy-related settlements. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position is $111,682, with a Total Compensation of up to $118,383 annually based on performance. Location and Working Conditions This position is based in Ava headquarters in Oakland, near BART. Ava's team has a hybrid approach inclusive of in-office and remote work. This role is expected to go into the office Tuesdays, Thursdays and the first Wednesday of the month.
