Job Description

Power Transformer Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities
• Prepare power transformers for testing
• Perform all IEEE required testing per engineer and customer requirements
• Operation of overhead cranes & transfer carts
• Use in house software to create components of a certified test report for engineering approval
• Perform all testing in a safe manner and within company policies
• Perform troubleshooting when required on testing equipment

Skills/Qualifications

• • Minimum of 5 years of experience in high voltage testing in power transformer industry.
• Good written and verbal skills
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
• Ability to read and understand electrical & mechanical drawings
