Powerhouse Fuel & Combustion Operator

Imagine being the steady hand behind a local mill’s boilers—keeping fuel moving, steam reliable, and production on pace. This is a high-impact role for someone who likes solving problems in real time and doesn’t mind trading the office for the yard and the control room.

Your mission

• Keep boilers fueled by operating front-end loaders and managing conveyor systems.
• Own day-to-day operation and upkeep of the hog fuel system.
• Run basic water chemistry checks: record meter, gauge, and sight-glass readings; change water and air filters.
• Support repairs on boilers, piping, valves, and gauges alongside the maintenance team.
• Evaluate and report on biomass fuel (chips, sawdust, shavings, bark) to the Power Plant Operator.
