PGS Worldwide is seeking a Pre-Employment Investigations Coordinator in Irving, TX for a hybrid one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.
The Pre-Employment Investigations Coordinator will guide new hires through background checks, drug screens, and other pre-employment requirements. This role serves as the primary point of contact for pre-hires, hiring managers, recruiters, internal teams, and external vendors while ensuring candidates are cleared to begin employment in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years of related experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Previous Human Resources experience involving pre-employment investigations.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and technology skills.
• Experience using web-based tools and websites to complete actions or troubleshoot issues.
• Broadband internet access at home.
• Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective listening, reading, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot process issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to support business needs across multiple time zones.
Preferred Skills
• Human Resources experience involving onboarding, staffing, recruiting, or pre-employment investigations.

What You’ll Do
• Guide pre-hires through the pre-employment investigation process.
• Provide status updates and gather additional information as needed.
• Partner with Recruiting, Security, and other internal teams to clear candidates for their start dates.
• Initiate and track background checks and drug screens.
• Troubleshoot and resolve pre-employment process issues.
• Administer tasks in Workday and ServiceNow.
• Ensure case documentation is accurate and complete.
• Answer questions from internal and external stakeholders by telephone, email, and text.
• Maintain accurate documentation using organizational systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Support continuous improvement of processes, systems, efficiency, and customer experience.
Work Schedule / Shift
• Monday-Friday, 5x8 schedule.
• Hybrid schedule requiring onsite work Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Irving, TX.
• Must be able to support business needs across multiple time zones.
Pay
• $37.05 per hour
