Job Title Pre-Fab Fabricator/Tech Location Des Moines, IA Employment Type Full-Time Overview EPI Power is seeking a Pre-Fab Fabricator/Tech to support electrical construction activities on mission-critical and data center projects. This role is responsible for field support and contributes to the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of complex electrical systems. The ideal candidate is open to travel and/or relocation based on project needs. This role may require extended work schedules, including weekends, based on project demands. EPI Power, LLC is a licensed electrical contractor and subsidiary of The Weitz Company specializing in data center construction. Fabricating prefabricated assemblies according to specifications

Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembly according to specifications

Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely

Support electrical installation, coordination, and execution of assigned scope

Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents

Coordinate with field leadership, project teams, and other trades

Maintain focus on safety, quality, schedule, and productivity

Identify and escalate field issues for timely resolution

Industry or trade-specific experience

Data center or mission-critical experience, if applicable

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Problem-solving and critical thinking in field environments

Ability to work independently in fast-paced conditions

Strong attention to detail and accountability

Technical Knowledge

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications Ability to read tape measure

Understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods

Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NEC preferred)

Technology

Microsoft Office

Role-specific software (Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, ACC, CxAlloy, etc.)

Additional Requirements

Valid driver's license

Ability to work in active construction environments

Work Environment This position may be performed in office and/or active construction site environments. Employees may be required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and must be able to navigate active jobsites safely. What We Offer
