Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for Pre-K students
• Monitor and assess student development, documenting progress and milestones
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and classroom activities
• Incorporate play-based learning, social-emotional development, and school readiness skills into daily instruction
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, aides, and administrative staff to support whole-child development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom setting

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Prior experience working with Pre-K or early childhood age groups
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Pennsylvania teaching certification or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential a plus
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Patient, warm, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for working with young children
