Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the daily classroom schedule in accordance with our curriculum.
- Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
- Assist in keeping a safe, sanitary classroom environment.
- Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines in our employee handbook.
- Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.
- Adhering to all Company, DCF, policies and procedures.
- Team Player.
- Must have a love for children and want to make a difference in a child's life.
- Friendly and Approachable.
- Working with Teachers and Assistants inside of Classroom.
Requirements:
- Position is Monday- Friday , M*W*TH 8:30AM-5:30PM and T*F 9:00-6:00 (NO WEEKENDS, 40 HOURS).
- Must have Experience in Child Care or Experience in VPK/PRE-K.
- Must complete a Background Screening (Clearinghouse).
- 45 hour state mandated courses a + but not required for position.
- 45 HOUR state mandatory courses are required to be completed after 90 days of employment.
- Mandatory Pre-K/VPK/State of Florida courses a + but not required, must be completed within 90 days of Employment.
- Pay rate depends on Experience and Education (will be discussed during interview).
CPR and First Aid must be completed within 90 days of Employment.
