Precision CNC Milling & Turning Technician

Opportunity Snapshot

• Role: Direct‑hire CNC technician openings across Pennsylvania production and job‑shop sites
• Industries: Aerospace, marine, medical device, nuclear/power
• Compensation: $25–$40/hour (direct hire)
• Shifts: 1st (Mon–Fri) and 2nd (Mon–Fri) with OT availability
• Equipment Families: Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Mazak, and additional leading brands

Core Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and multi‑axis machinery
• Interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, and GD&T to produce in‑tolerance parts
• Machine a variety of metals with appropriate tooling and feeds/speeds
• Inspect parts with CMMs, micrometers, depth gages, and related instruments

Qualifications

• CNC mill or lathe operation experience
• Proven mill or lathe setup capability
• Changeover experience to support quick turns and small‑to‑mid runs

Technical Proficiency

• CNC Programming
• CNC Machine Setup & Changeover

• CNC Mill (3–4 axis VMC): Fanuc, Bridgeport, Mazak, ProtoTRAK, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Kitamura, Makino, Brother, Hurco, Dmg Mori Seiki
• CNC Lathe (2–4 axis): Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Takisawa, Dmg Mori Seiki, Samsung, Murata, Fuji, Nakamura, Hyundai - Wia
• CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC): Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Matsuura, Mikron, Dmg Mori Seiki
• CNC Lathe (5+ axis): Mazak, Okuma, Doosan, Index, Eurotech, Miyano, Dmg Mori Seiki, Samsung, Nakamura
