Build one-of-a-kind parts with a team that’s been doing it right since 1945
Our contract machine shop was founded on craftsmanship and precision. Today, we continue that legacy by producing large, high-value components in very low volumes—often just 1 to 10 pieces—where every thousandth matters. If you’re the machinist who loves taming big workpieces on modern turning centers using steady rest, tailstock, and your command of G-code, we’d like to meet you.
Picture this
You’re assigned a critical part with tight GD&T callouts. You study the drawing, create a clean setup on a 2–5 axis machine, load the right tooling, set precise offsets, and program or edit as needed on Fanuc or Mazak controls. As the part cuts, you verify features with micrometers and calipers, make wise adjustments, and work with a teammate to eliminate chatter. The result: a flawless component delivered on time and in tolerance.
Your impact
- Own setups and production on CNC lathes and mills (2–5 axis) for large components.
- Transform drawings into actionable machining plans; read and apply GD&T correctly.
- Input programs, adjust parameters, and conduct basic program troubleshooting (G & M code).
- Execute correct use of steady rest and tailstock to achieve accuracy and stability.
- Maintain machines to sustain accuracy, reliability, and uptime.
- Validate dimensions with precision metrology and document results as required.
- Partner across the team to resolve issues quickly while following safety and quality procedures.
