Why this role matters
Our production floor relies on expert setups to hit quality metrics and delivery promises. You’ll be the go‑to specialist who partners with engineering and production to configure machines, validate first articles, and streamline changeovers—so every cycle counts.
Your impact
Configure and run CNC lathes—Mori Seiki, Takisawa, Hyundai—to deliver precise parts aligned to print and process controls.
Set up CNC mills (Takumi, Hurco), Bridgeport mills, and a Mega gundrilling machine to achieve tight tolerances and optimal finishes.
Support fabrication throughput using Bystronic and Amada press brakes and cutting profiles on Trumpf and Bystronic laser equipment.
Process stock and fixtures via CR Onsrud CNC routers and Hydmech saws for efficient downstream machining.
Perform tooling swaps, offsets, program edits, and machine adjustments; execute first‑piece inspections and ongoing quality checks using precision measurement tools.
What you’ll need to succeed
4+ years of CNC setup/operation, ideally with Fanuc controls.
Hands‑on experience across lathes, mills, press brakes, laser cutters, routers, and broader metal fabrication equipment.
Fluency in GD&T and blueprint reading; skilled with micrometers, gauges, and comparators.
Comfort machining stainless steel and non‑ferrous materials; CAD/CAM exposure is advantageous.
Analytical problem‑solver with strong math, communication, and organizational skills—and a relentless focus on safety and quality.
