Precision Wet-Process Cleaning Operator (Acid Chemistries)

About the role

Join us as a Precision Wet-Process Cleaning Operator supporting the cleaning and inspection of finely machined components. This is an entry-level position with full, paid on-the-job training.

A day in the life

• Begin by reviewing job travelers and production documentation, confirming part counts and steps.
• Suit up with required PPE and prepare workstations for wet/chemical processing.
• Clean parts using acid-based chemistries, including diluted hydrofluoric acid (HF) and nitric acid (HNO), strictly following written SOPs.
• Inspect parts before and after cleaning for defects, contamination, damage, or labeling discrepancies.
• Record completed activity in the computerized production tracking system.
• Assist with unboxing, packaging, and sealing finished parts for the next operation or shipment.
• Follow daily assignments and instructions from production leadership throughout the shift.

Safety and environment

You will work directly with acid-based cleaning solutions in a wet/chemical manufacturing setting. Required PPE may include a lab coat, safety glasses, face shield, chemical-resistant apron, and gloves. Work is performed primarily while standing and walking and involves repetitive material handling and safely lifting and carrying parts weighing up to 50 lbs.

• No previous manufacturing experience required—training provided.
• Basic English skills to understand instructions and safety signage.
• Basic computer/data-entry ability.
• Consistency in following written procedures and safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to flag quality issues.
• Comfort in a wet/chemical environment while wearing required PPE.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift.
