Preconstruction Manager - Commercial Construction

A well-established commercial general contractor in Dallas is adding a Preconstruction Manager to its team. You'll own preconstruction on complex commercial projects, including aviation and other large-scale facilities, and help shape how each job gets priced, planned, and set up to succeed.

What You'll Do

• Lead preconstruction efforts from early conceptual budgets through final pricing
• Develop estimates, bid strategies, and schedules alongside the estimating team
• Run subcontractor outreach, scope reviews, and bid leveling
• Drive value engineering, constructability, and risk reviews with owners and design partners
• Support pursuits and interviews with business development and operations leaders
• Hand off well-organized projects to the field team for a smooth start

What You Bring

• 15+ years of combined experience in estimating, preconstruction, and operations with a commercial general contractor
• Experience on large, complex commercial projects; aviation or other critical facilities is a strong plus
• Strong command of conceptual and detailed estimating
• Clear communication with owners, architects, and trade partners
• A team-first approach and steady judgment under tight bid deadlines
